CommonSpirit Health at Home offers vital end of life care to Indiana and Illinois communities

Loveland, OH - February 2, 2026 - CommonSpirit Health at Home is proud to announce they have opened two new locations under the name Good Samaritan Hospice in Vincennes, IN and Lawrenceville, IL. The launch of hospice services follows Good Samaritan Hospital's announcement regarding the closure of its hospice program at the end of 2025.

CommonSpirit Health at Home is a long-standing and trusted partner with Good Samaritan through Good Samaritan Home Care Services, a successful joint venture that has provided vital home health care in Vincennes, Indiana, and Lawrenceville, Illinois, for over 35 years. 

Bringing hospice services under the CommonSpirit Health at Home umbrella guarantees continued access to quality, compassionate end-of-life care. 

Patients will continue to receive care from the same trusted and familiar care team, ensuring stability and solace during a sensitive time. 

The program will remain dedicated to delivering empathetic, individualized attention, alongside vital volunteer and bereavement programs for families and loved ones.
